NYFF Currents Lineup Premieres Tala Hadid's 'Bardi' at Festival
The New York Film Festival is a very big movie event in New York City.
This year it will happen from September 25 to October 12.
One part of the festival is called Currents.
It shows movies that try new and different ways of telling stories.
The people in charge of the festival are called Film at Lincoln Center.
This year, Currents will show 15 full-length movies and 28 short movies.
Five of those movies have never been shown anywhere before.
One of them is called 'Bardi,' made by Tala Hadid.
It is about horse-riders in Morocco and a very old horseback ceremony called Tbourida.
