Milky Mist Commissions Solar Capacity, Reaches 100% Renewable Energy
Milky Mist is a company that makes dairy products.
It has started using a new solar power plant in Arasanoor, Tamil Nadu.
The new plant can produce 10 megawatts of electricity.
Together with its older plant, the company now has 25 megawatts of solar capacity there.
Milky Mist says renewable energy now supplies all of its electricity needs.

Milky Mist commissioned a new 10 MW solar plant at Arasanoor, Tamil Nadu.
The new plant adds to an existing 15 MW facility at the same location, creating 25 MW of capacity.
The total investment in the 25 MW Arasanoor facilities is approximately ₹110 crore.
Milky Mist says renewable sources now meet 100% of its power requirements.
The company expects the facilities to avoid approximately 16,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
