Delhi, Oil India Sign MoU for 800 TPD Biogas Plants

The city of Delhi and a company called Oil India Limited made a deal to build two new plants that will turn garbage into useful gas and fertilizer.

One plant can handle 500 tonnes of waste a day and will be built in a place called Tehkhand.

The other plant can handle 300 tonnes a day and will be built in Okhla.

Together, they can process 800 tonnes of waste each day.

This helps keep the city cleaner and gives farmers a good fertilizer to grow crops.
