Kurnool has a very large amount of old garbage at two dump yards.

Workers are using bio-mining to separate and treat this waste.

The city commissioner said the work must move faster.

He also asked contractors to remove processed waste from the site.

This will create space for new waste facilities.

A large Waste-to-Energy plant is planned to turn waste into electricity.

Another plant will process daily garbage into materials that can be reused.

Officials also checked road repairs and preparations for Vinayaka idol immersion.
