Five cases were registered against him between April 28 and May 26, 2026, in the erstwhile Khammam district.
He was also accused in two Essential Commodities Act cases registered in 2024.
Rama Rao was shifted to Chenchalguda Central Jail after police said he failed to change his conduct despite notices.
