Tripura Student Drowns in Jagannath Dighi, Body Recovered After Search
A Class 10 student named Debjit De went to a pond in Udaipur with five classmates.
They entered the water to bathe at about 3 p.m.
on Sunday.
Debjit suddenly went underwater and did not come back up.
Officials and rescue workers began searching for him.
After a long search, they found his body in the pond.
He was taken to Gomati District Hospital.
Doctors there declared him dead.
