DUSU Elections 2026 Schedule Announced, Voting on September 18

Every year, students at Delhi University get to vote for their own student leaders in an election called DUSU.

The people in charge have now told everyone when this election will happen in 2026.

The big voting day is September 18.

But before that, students who want to run for a role have to fill out some special papers.

These papers are called nomination papers.

The last day to hand in these papers is September 10, before 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Students also have to send in a special payment of 500 rupees and some signed papers called affidavits.

Right after the deadline, at 3:15 pm, the papers will be checked.

After the checking is done, a list of students who are allowed to run will be shown to everyone.

Then, on September 18, students can vote for who they want to lead them.
