The University of Delhi is getting ready to hold elections for its student union, called DUSU.

The elections will happen on September 18, and votes will be counted the next day.

Students who want to run must sign up by September 13.

There are new rules to make the campaign paperless.

Candidates cannot print posters or pamphlets anymore.

Instead, they can make a short video speech that will be put on the university website, and use free social media.

Using loudspeakers, vehicles, animals, or costumes is not allowed.

Each candidate can only spend up to Rs 5000.

Students must be between certain ages and have good attendance to run.

These rules are meant to keep the election fair and clean.
