CBSE Announces NISHTHA Courses for Teachers, DIKSHA Virtual Labs

It has announced new NISHTHA courses for teachers.
These courses help teachers learn new skills.
Teachers and school heads can sign up until August 31, 2026.
The courses run from April to October 2026.
They are available in English and Hindi.
Teachers can learn about staying safe online and electronic waste.
CBSE has also added more than 845 virtual labs to the DIKSHA platform.
Students can use these labs to learn science and math.

CBSE announced NISHTHA courses for teachers for the 2026-27 academic session under Category II (Proficiency) and Category III (Advanced).
Enrollment deadline is August 31, 2026, and courses must be completed by September 15, 2026.
Courses run from April to October 2026 and cover cyber hygiene, electronic waste hazards, action research and the Catch the Rain initiative.
More than 845 curriculum-aligned virtual labs, mostly in science and mathematics, are available on the DIKSHA platform.
The virtual labs were developed by CIET-NCERT and are accessible via DIKSHA portal and app, QR codes in NCERT textbooks, Ask DIKSHA and PAL courses.
