Elon Musk's X Shuts Down Revenue Program Next Month
End Of Viral Farming? Elon Musk’s X Is Shutting Down ‘Revenue Program’ From Next Month · news18.com

Elon Musk owns a social media app called X, which used to be called Twitter.

On X, people can write posts that other people see and like.

X used to pay some users money when their posts got lots of views.

But some people copied posts from others to earn money without making anything new.

X does not like that, so it is stopping the old payment program.

The last payments from the old program will be sent out on September 7.

X is starting a new program called Original Content Rewards.

In the new program, people get paid every two weeks if their original posts get real attention.

To join, users must be 18 or older, pay for X Premium, and have 500 real followers.

Their posts also need at least 500,000 views from verified users in 90 days, and if they are rejected they can appeal once or wait 90 days to try again.
