Nikita Bier Steps Down as X Product Lead, Remains Advisor
Nikita Bier was the person in charge of making the X app, formerly called Twitter, better.
Elon Musk, who owns X, hired him for that job about one year ago.
Now Nikita has decided to stop being the boss of X's product team.
He will still help X by giving advice.
Nikita said it was an honor to serve the X community.
He said managing the app is a 24/7 job and it was time to take a break.
During his year at X, the company added new things like an 'About this account' page and a private messaging tool called X Chat.
He also helped launch about 30 new products, and X climbed 70 spots in the App Store.
X's AI chatbot, Grok, caused some problems during his time, like saying mean things and making pictures of people without their permission.
It is not yet clear who will take over his job as head of product.
