New on shelves: Four books to read this month

This month, a book list tells us about four brand-new books.

The first book is a collection of true stories written by a reporter named Samanth Subramaniam.

He writes about interesting things from around the world, like cables under the ocean and a fun fight between companies that make paper towels and hand dryers.

The second book, called 'Mammals of India', is a big book with pictures about the many furry animals that live in India, more than 450 kinds.

Two wildlife scientists, A.J.T. Johnsingh and P.O. Nameer, wrote it.

The third book is called 'Redtooth' and it is a scary story.

In the story, some hikers go to the mountains in Sikkim and meet spooky creatures from another world.

The fourth book, 'Rebel Bastar', is about a place in India called Bastar and helps explain why some people there have followed a movement called Maoism.

All four books are now available to read.
