Two Held for Injuring, Robbing Jewellery Shop Employee in Delhi
A man named Pramod Yadav works at a jewellery shop in Delhi.
One night, while he was walking home, two men stopped him on a road.
They hurt him with a sharp blade and took his phone and his gold chain.
He was badly hurt and had to be taken to the hospital.
He needed surgery and was cared for in the intensive care unit.
The police looked for the men who hurt him and found them.
Their names are Salman and Salman alias Mubashir, and they are both 21 years old.
The police got back the victim's phone and his gold chain.
They also found the blade that was used and some money that was made from the stolen chain.
Now the two men are arrested and will face the law for what they did.
Two men, Salman (21) and Salman alias Mubashir (21), were arrested for allegedly attacking and robbing jewellery shop employee Pramod Yadav in Sonia Vihar, Delhi.
The attack occurred on August 12 on a service road near Pushta Road while Yadav was returning home after parking his car.
The accused allegedly attacked Yadav with a surgical blade before fleeing with his iPhone and gold chain, leaving him seriously injured.
Police recovered the iPhone, the gold chain weighing around 24 grams along with pawn documents, Rs 1.03 lakh, and the surgical blade used in the attack.
A case was registered at Sonia Vihar police station under Section 109(1) (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
