India's Indigenous Bullet Train Body Frame Ready for Testing
India is building its own bullet train.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the train’s first body frame is finished.
The frame has been sent for a squeeze test to check its strength.
The train may start testing on railway tracks by May or June next year.
The testing is expected to take two to four months.
After testing, the Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the train.
The project follows the idea of making more products in India.
It was discussed at the ‘NaMo for Viksit Bharat’ event.
