Gujarat Police Honours Retired Senior Officers at Mentor Programme
The Gujarat Police held a special programme to thank retired senior officers.
More than 30 former officers attended the event with their families.
The programme is called Salute Our Mentors.
It was started two years ago by Vikas Sahay.
Current police chief Gyanendra Singh Malik said older officers taught him important lessons.
These lessons included keeping records, checking duties and listening carefully to public complaints.
