Bookshop Helper Arrested in Dehradun Woman’s Alleged Murder
Police in Dehradun arrested a 33-year-old man named Vineet Kumar.
He is accused of killing Rekha Bansal, the wife of a bookshop owner.
Police said Kumar had worked at the shop for about 15 years.
They allege he went to the Bansal family’s home to ask for unpaid wages.
An argument reportedly happened while Rekha was alone.
Police say Kumar hit her with a metal bangle and then covered her mouth and nose when she screamed.
He allegedly took a gold bangle from her wrist and later sold it.
Police said they recovered both bangles after questioning him.
