Kanpur Pharma Trader Murder: Daughter-in-Law Held Over ₹6 Lakh Plot
Police say a 63-year-old pharmaceutical trader named Viniet Minocha was killed in his Kanpur home.
He was allegedly stabbed 26 times.
Investigators suspect his daughter-in-law, Shalu, arranged the attack.
Police say she promised a domestic worker named Vishal ₹6 lakh for the killing.
Vishal and another man allegedly entered the apartment before the family left for a party.
They reportedly hid inside using a duplicate key.
Police say Minocha found them while checking the rooms, and the men then attacked him.
Shalu’s husband has been questioned but has not been found to be involved so far.
