The Uttar Pradesh government is building special shopping centers called PM Unity Malls.

They will sell handmade goods and local products from different districts.

The malls are being built in Agra, Varanasi, and Lucknow.

Artisans, women, and young people will be able to show their products to more customers.

Products such as Banarasi sarees, wooden toys, and Chikankari will have dedicated spaces.

Goods from all 75 districts may be displayed on one platform.

The government says this can increase artisan incomes and create jobs.

The projects are expected to open at different times in 2026.

About Rs 128.85 crore; 11.53 acres; 135 shops; expected completion in November 2026.
Varanasi project
About Rs 154.71 crore; 1.46 acres; 111 shops; expected completion in December 2026.
Lucknow project
Rs 64 crore; approximately 4.86 acres; 139 shops; expected completion in October 2026.
Products featured
Banarasi sarees, zari-zardozi, wooden toys, rudraksha, Chikankari, and other regional products.
Statewide coverage
Products from all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh are intended to be showcased on one platform.
Stated objectives
