Remains of Nirmal Purja, three climbers recovered from Broad Peak
There is a very high mountain called Broad Peak, one of the tallest mountains in the world.
A group of ten climbers was trying to reach the top of it.
Suddenly, a big wall of snow called an avalanche hit them.
Very sadly, some of the climbers lost their lives, including a very famous climber named Nirmal Purja, who is also called Nimsdai.
Nirmal was trying to set a new world record by climbing the world's tallest mountains.
After the accident, a team of brave climbers went up the mountain to find and bring back the climbers who had passed away.
The team was led by Nirmal's friend, Mingma G. It was a very hard and dangerous job because the mountain is so high and the air is so cold and thin.
After a careful effort, they brought the bodies of four climbers down to Base Camp, the resting place at the bottom of the mountain.
Three climbers are still missing, and everyone hopes they can be found and brought home too.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan confirmed the mortal remains of Nirmal Purja, Zhong Wang, Nima Sherpa and Kilu Sherpa were recovered from Broad Peak and arrived safely at Base Camp.
The climbers were swept down the mountain by an avalanche on July 30 at around 6,600 metres between Camp 2 and Camp 3.
Purja, a 43-year-old British-Nepali climber known as 'Nimsdai', was pursuing his 58th summit of 8,000-metre peaks, which he described as the highest in the world.
The recovery team was led by Purja's friend Mingma G, with the ACP President describing the operation as 'exceptionally challenging and technically demanding'.
Three climbers from the group remain missing, and the Alpine Club of Pakistan said it remains committed to recovering them when conditions allow.
