Search for Gautam Krishna intensified with new Coast Guard base
Some fishermen disappeared after their boats had accidents in the sea near Kerala, a state in India.

Union Minister Suresh Gopi said the search for missing fisherman Gautam Krishna has been intensified with a Coast Guard helicopter setting up a new base close to the search area.
The helicopter will use the Amritanandamayi College of Engineering grounds in Kollam as its base, with a fuel tanker stationed nearby for quick refueling.
Gautam Krishna went missing after a boat mishap at Neendakara in Kollam in which his father and grandfather died.
Two other fishermen, John and Shijin, went missing on July 31 in separate boat mishaps at Vizhinjam and Muthalappozhi in Thiruvananthapuram district.
The search operation, involving the Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Enforcement and local fishermen, has entered its 13th day with all three men still missing.
