Delhi Rain Eases as Bihar Flood Threat Persists
Delhi’s heavy rain is expected to become lighter on Monday.
The city may have partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 33°C and 35°C.
Bihar is facing a more serious problem because floods have affected more than 19 lakh people.
Several rivers there are still above dangerous levels.
More rain and lightning are expected in Bihar, so the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning.
Other parts of northern, eastern and western India may also receive rain.
The Konkan and Goa region could stay wet until September 12.
Southern states are expected to receive less rain overall, although some places may still get showers.

The India Meteorological Department has issued Bihar a yellow warning and forecast widespread rain plus isolated heavy rain through September 8.
Rain is expected across parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and the Sub-Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim region.
The Konkan and Goa region will remain wet through September 12, while southern states are forecast to receive relatively subdued rainfall.
