UMC Orders Fast-Track Completion of Ujjain Road Projects
The UMC Commissioner in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has told workers to finish road projects quickly before an important event.
He checked many roads and gave instructions to make sure the work is done well and on time.
He also told them to make the roads safer and cleaner.
Additionally, engineers are getting special training to learn about safety at construction sites.
This is all to get ready for a big event called Simhastha Mahaparv in 2028.
UMC Commissioner Abhilash Mishra inspected ongoing road projects in Ujjain and ordered their completion before Baba Mahakal sawari.
Key projects include Chhatri Chowk to Satyanarayan Temple, Harsiddhi Ki Paal to Ram Ghat, and Mahakal Temple Parking to Chaubis Khamba Road.
Instructions were given to beautify the gabion wall, ensure safety measures, and expedite subgrade and retaining wall work.
The commissioner directed the completion of slab casting at Regal Talkies Shopping Complex and immediate debris removal.
Engineers and technical officers attended a Construction Safety Capacity Building Workshop for Simhastha Mahaparv-2028 preparations.
