Karnataka Cabinet Expansion Surprises with Nagendra's Return and Fresh Faces
The Congress party in Karnataka added new ministers to its government.
They brought back B. Nagendra, who had left the cabinet because of a scam, after the police said he was clean.
Some senior leaders were left out, like Laxmi Hebbalkar.
New ministers include former ministers and young politicians.
The move shows the party wants both experienced and new people in power.
Congress expands Karnataka cabinet, adding 15 ministers including former MLA B. Nagendra.
Nagendra, previously resigned over alleged scam, was cleared by state CID and reinducted after legal review.
Several senior leaders such as Laxmi Hebbalkar and Dinesh Gundu Rao were omitted from the new ministry.
New inductees include former ministers Madhu Bangarappa, Ajay Singh, Shivaraj Tangadagi, and newcomers like Rizwan Arshad.
