BJP alleges Karnataka Cabinet expansion shaped by Siddaramaiah-Shivakumar power struggle

Every few years, people in a place in India called Karnataka vote for leaders to run their state.

A group called the Congress party is in charge there, and its leaders were picking people for important government jobs.

A leader from another group, the BJP, said the picks were not fair.

He said some people got the good jobs because they paid money or had powerful friends, not because they would do good work.

He also said two top Congress leaders were fighting over who has more power.

He was upset that no women were given any of the important jobs.

One person who got a job, B. Nagendra, is being watched by judges because some money may be missing.

The BJP leader also said minister Priyank Kharge made unkind comments about students asking for jobs.

Even some people inside the Congress party said they were unhappy with how the jobs were handed out.

The BJP leader said the people of Karnataka will show what they think when they vote.
