India to study US transshipment report, rejects Washington role claims
The people in charge of India's foreign relations talk to reporters and answer their questions on Fridays.
The United States recently made a report saying that some countries might be secretly helping China send its products to America without paying the taxes America charges.
India is one of the countries in that report, along with Canada, Japan, Mexico and others.
India's foreign ministry said it will read the report carefully and check how it was written.
India also said it already has strong rules about moving products across its borders.
Some people thought that America told India what to do about a new law relating to foreign money.
India said that is not true, and only India's own Parliament can decide on its laws.
India also shared that the President of Iran is coming to visit, and the leaders of China and Russia may come to a big meeting called BRICS in September.
Finally, India sent medicines and other supplies to help people in Colombia after a bad earthquake.

The 25-page report, "The Great Transshipment Scam", identifies roughly 40 nations as part of a "shadow transshipment network" used by China to circumvent US tariffs, putting India in Tier 1 along with Canada, the EU, Israel, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan.
India rejected reports that Washington pressured it to refer the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, to a Joint Parliamentary Committee, calling legislative matters internal affairs decided only by Parliament.
The Lok Sabha referred the Bill to a 31-member Joint Parliamentary Committee on August 12 following opposition protests and appeals by Christian organisations.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is confirmed to visit New Delhi, and Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin are expected to attend the BRICS summit in India in September.
