Chaganti advises police trainees to cultivate patience
A very wise and famous speaker named Chaganti Koteswara Rao gave a special talk to people who are training to become police officers.
About 5,560 police trainees watched his talk on a video screen.
He spoke to them from the district police office in a city called Kakinada.
He told them that being a police officer can be stressful, so they must learn to handle their feelings.
He said it is important to be honest, disciplined, and patient.
He also told them to listen carefully to people who are sad or scared and to be kind to them.
Getting angry can make people feel even worse, he explained.
He suggested reading good books and funny stories to feel calm and peaceful inside.
Many senior police officers joined the talk as well.

The awareness programme was organised from the Kakinada District Police Office, with trainees and police training institutions across the State participating.
He said mental stress is inevitable in police duties and advised personnel to manage it effectively while valuing honesty, discipline and patience.
He urged police personnel to listen patiently to people in distress and respond with empathy, warning that irritation or anger could aggravate complainants' distress.
He recommended reading books such as Guravayanam by Dr Gurava Reddy and humorous works by Chilakamarti Lakshminarasimham and Jandhyala to promote mental peace.
Senior officials including Training IG Amburajan, Kakinada District SP G Bindumadhav and principals of 21 police training colleges participated in the programme.
