Jammu and Kashmir Names New Intelligence Chief in Reshuffle
Jammu and Kashmir has changed several senior police assignments.
M K Sinha is now the territory’s intelligence chief.
He is a 1996-batch Indian Police Service officer.
He will also be the Additional Director General of the Criminal Investigation Department.
The previous intelligence chief, Nitish Kumar, has moved to the Armed Police.
Sujit Kumar is now the Inspector General of Police for the Valley.
Tejinder Singh is the new Inspector General of Police for Jammu.
These changes were ordered by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as part of a major police reshuffle.
