Panvel Civic Body Approves ₹13.20 Crore Multi-Level Parking Facility To Ease Old City Traffic Congestion · freepressjournal.in

Old Panvel has narrow roads and many cars, motorcycles, markets, offices and hospitals.

Many drivers park on the sides of the roads because there are not enough parking spaces.

This makes it harder for traffic and pedestrians to move.

The Panvel Municipal Corporation has approved a new parking building to help solve the problem.

It will be built near Lifeline Hospital and the Panvel bus stand.

Special machines will stack vehicles vertically to save space.

The facility could hold 72 cars and 96 two-wheelers.

The project is expected to cost more than ₹13.20 crore.

Officials hope drivers will use the facility instead of parking on the roads.
