IIT-Ropar has made an agreement with the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur.

The agreement will help some Indian Army officers study for MTech degrees in Defence Technology.

The officers are taking the Long Air Defence Course.

Teachers from IIT-Ropar will guide their research and dissertations.

The officers may also use IIT-Ropar laboratories and other facilities after getting approval.

They can attend lectures and seminars by IIT-Ropar teachers.

The two institutions will work together on technology and research projects.

This continues a partnership that began with an agreement signed in December 2022.
