BJP Announces Four Candidates for Bihar Legislative Council Polls
The BJP has chosen candidates for four seats in Bihar’s Legislative Council election.
Three current members will try to win their seats again.
Narendra Kumar Singh will contest the Tirhut Teachers seat.
That seat is currently held by Sanjay Kumar Singh of the CPI.
Other parties, including the JD(U), RJD and Jan Suraaj Party, have also announced candidates.
The election will take place on October 23.
Votes will be counted on October 27.
Only eligible graduates and teachers registered on special voter lists can vote in these constituencies.
