Prashant Kishor Names Five Candidates for Bihar Council Polls
Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party has chosen five people to contest upcoming Bihar Legislative Council elections.
The elections are expected to be announced soon.
They will decide winners for eight seats in total.
Four seats are for graduates’ constituencies and four are for teachers’ constituencies.
Afaq Ahmed will try to keep his seat representing Saran teachers.
Divya Jyoti will contest the Patna teachers’ seat.
Three other candidates will contest seats in Darbhanga and Kosi.
The party says it plans to contest all eight seats to expand its organisation.
