Vijayawada Corporation Wins National Swachh Vayu Survey Recognition

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation’s 60th ward secured second place nationally in the Best Performing Wards category.
VMC’s 31st ward was named the Best Performing Ward at the State level.
VMC received a cash prize of Rs 30 lakh with its national recognition.
Municipal Commissioner H.M. Dhyanachandra accepted the award from Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi.
Guntur Municipal Corporation also secured second place in the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan for its air-pollution control efforts.
