Security officers at Mumbai airport stopped three passengers in separate cases.

One passenger was travelling to Jodhpur after arriving from Dubai.

Officers found gold paste hidden inside the bottoms of both legs of the passenger’s jeans.

The gold weighed 430 grams and was worth about Rs 60.91 lakh.

In two other cases, officers found foreign currency with two female passengers.

One passenger travelling to Dubai had US dollars hidden near her knees and in her hand baggage.

Another passenger travelling to Ras Al-Khaimah had US dollars and UAE dirhams in her hand baggage.

The passengers and the seized items were given to Customs officials for further legal action.
