Tata Power has started a new solar program in Bihar.

It is called ‘Har Ghar Solar.’

The program aims to help five lakh homes use rooftop solar power within three years.

Rooftop solar panels are placed on the roofs of houses to produce electricity.

The Bihar government is supporting the program.

Bihar has also approved an extra subsidy of Rs 10,000 for each kilowatt of solar capacity.

With central and state support together, households can receive different amounts depending on the size of their solar system.
