Police in Hyderabad arrested two people over the alleged illegal sale of medicines.

One person, Pathan Saleem, worked at a pharmacy in Sanath Nagar.

Police said he sold certain medicines without doctors’ prescriptions.

They also alleged that he stored medicines separately and sold them for extra money.

The second person, Prashanth Reddy, allegedly tried to buy medicines without a prescription.

Police said they seized medicines worth Rs 4.80 lakh.

The seized items included Tapentadol tablets and cough syrup.

The case was handed to a Drug Inspector for further action.
