Fadnavis to Inaugurate MVP Agriculture College Campus in Nashik
A college that teaches agriculture is moving to a larger campus in Chachadgaon.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will officially open the new campus on Friday, August 28.
The college is run by the Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj in Nashik.
It has buildings for classes, offices, laboratories and libraries.
There are also separate hostels for boys and girls.
Students will use a large 109-acre agricultural area to learn farming practically.
The college offers a four-year B.Sc.
Agriculture programme for 120 students each year.
Its leaders say the college aims to help farmers and villages through education, research and services.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate MVP’s new agriculture college campus on Friday, August 28.
The Karmayogi Dulaji Sitaram Patil College of Agriculture has moved from Nashik city to Chachadgaon in Dindori taluka.
The inauguration will include the main college building and separate hostels for boys and girls.
The 14-acre campus includes laboratories, lecture halls, libraries, computer facilities, internet access and student hostels.
The college has a 109-acre agricultural area for practical training and an annual B.Sc. Agriculture intake of 120 students.
