Liberia's Foreign Minister Nyanti Arrives in New Delhi for Talks

An important leader from a country called Liberia visited India.

Her name is Sara Beysolow Nyanti, and she is Liberia's Foreign Minister, the person in charge of talking to other countries.

She came to New Delhi, the capital of India, to meet India's Foreign Minister, S Jaishankar.

They talked about how India and Liberia can be better friends and work together.

India and Liberia have been friendly for a long time, and India even opened an office in Liberia's capital, Monrovia, in 2021.

Some lawmakers from Liberia also came to India to learn about programmes that help people, like opening bank accounts and getting clean water.

This learning visit is called a South-South Peer Learning Mission.

It was organised with the help of UN Women and paid for by India, Brazil and South Africa.

The two countries said they want to keep helping each other and working together, especially for the Global South, countries that are still developing.

Sharing ideas this way helps both countries become better.
