UAE Indian Passport Services: No Premium Queues, 30-Minute Target
Indian expatriates in the UAE now have a new way to get their passports.
A company called Alhind Tours & Travels is handling the passport services.
They promise to process applications in just 30 minutes and treat everyone equally.
There are no extra fees for faster service.
You can book an appointment online, and most people need to do that before visiting a center.
Some people, like those applying for urgent passports or senior citizens, can walk in without an appointment.
The centers are open from 8 am to 6 pm and can handle up to 8,000 applications a day.
This change happened after some legal issues with the previous service providers.
Alhind Tours & Travels now handles Indian consular services in the UAE, replacing previous providers.
No premium queues or extra fees for faster service; flat Dh19 service fee inclusive of VAT.
Target processing time of 30 minutes for all applicants.
Most applicants need to book appointments online, with slots released twice daily at 9 am and 9 pm.
Walk-in services available for Tatkal passport applicants, parents of newborns, and senior citizens aged 60+.
