Ishan Grover used to work in Dubai’s real estate industry.

His father became sick with cancer and later died.

Spending time in hospitals made Ishan think differently about his busy life.

He began wanting a calmer and more peaceful way to live.

After visiting Kasar Devi in Uttarakhand, he fell in love with the mountains.

He decided to stay there instead of returning to his old life.

He now runs or co-founded a place called Thoda Slow.

The cafe or shop encourages people to slow down and spend more time on themselves.
