Founder quits ₹1 crore US job and returns to India

A man named Thiruvengadam had a very well-paying job in the United States that paid about one crore rupees each year.

After living in America for 14 years, he decided to move back to India with his wife and their 11-month-old baby daughter.

He wanted to be closer to his family and to build something of his own, instead of just earning more money.

In January 2021, he started a company called Qubit Fitness with almost nothing — just a laptop, his time, and about 90,000 rupees in savings.

He had no office, no investors, and no team when he began.

In the first year, Qubit Fitness earned about 20 lakh rupees, which was much less than his old salary, but he did not give up.

After six years of hard work and patience, he finally reached the money goal he had set for himself.

He says consistency matters more than talent and that earning money through purposeful work feels different.

Many people on social media praised his story and said it inspires them to follow their dreams.

Experts say many professionals are now returning to India because of new work opportunities, remote jobs, visa rules, and the wish to be with family.
