A group of 15 journalists from Uttarakhand came to Hyderabad on August 31.

They are taking part in a five-day visit that ends on September 4.

The group is visiting places connected with Central Government programs in Telangana.

They met officials at the Press Information Bureau office.

The officials explained how government information and public awareness campaigns are carried out.

The journalists also visited an ocean information centre to learn about tsunami warnings and ocean forecasts.

They are scheduled to visit a nutrition institute, an ESIC hospital, and a handloom and handicraft exhibition.

They will also see famous places such as the Charminar, Salar Jung Museum, and Laad Bazaar.
