Chakan factory shift could cost 5,000 jobs, Thackeray warns
Some factories in a place called Chakan, near Pune in India, want to move to another place called Khandala.
The owners of at least 20 companies said they made this decision earlier this week.
They say the roads are too crowded and the area does not have enough facilities.
A leader named Aaditya Thackeray visited Chakan to talk to people who work there.
He said that if the factories leave, about 5,000 people could lose their jobs.
Some of those jobs are direct jobs at the factories, and some are indirect jobs that depend on the factories.
Thackeray used to be a minister in the Maharashtra government.
He belongs to a political group called Shiv Sena (UBT).
He met with industry representatives during his visit to the industrial area.
