A scamster pretended to be a Delhi court judge on WhatsApp.

The person used the judge’s photograph as a profile picture.

The scamster told lawyers that he was in Thailand.

He then asked them to send money.

Advocate Gaganpreet Singh received one of these messages from an unknown number.

Singh became suspicious because the request seemed unusual.

The incident led to an FIR being registered.

The alleged scamster had targeted members of the Delhi Bar Association.
