MCOCA Invoked Against Z Gang Chief Zulfikar Behlim, 11 Associates

The police in Mumbai are cracking down on a group of bad people called the 'Z Gang.'

They believe the leader is a man named Zulfikar Behlim.

The police say he, his brother Mohsin Behlim, and 10 other friends scared a businessman and took a lot of money from him.

The businessman was threatened while a gun was pointed at him, and they took 25 lakh rupees.

Lakh is a word used in India for 100,000, so that is a very large amount of money.

The gang is accused of scaring many business people, contractors and residents so they could get money.

The police used a special strong law called MCOCA to deal with them.

This law is used for big, organized criminal groups.

A senior police officer named Anil Kumbhare gave permission for this action on August 4, 2026.

The police are still looking into the gang's money and its other members.
