Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Rutuja Patil from her residence in Nandurbar in the alleged MPSC Drug Inspector paper leak case.
Police allege that 77 of 294 questions were leaked before the March 22, 2026 examination.
Six other people are already in custody, including three MPSC officials, an academy director, Patil’s father and Gaurav Patil.
Investigators are examining allegations that questions were obtained for Rs 12 lakh and that a WhatsApp chat mentioned a Rs 50 lakh payment.
The examination was cancelled after the alleged leak emerged; police are investigating the circulation chain and a possible fresh examination.
