Odisha Medical Exam Question Paper Allegedly Circulated
A medical college in Odisha had a big exam for doctors.
Some students said pictures of the exam paper were taken and sent on WhatsApp while the test was happening.
The college made a special team to find out who did it and how.
They will write a report in three days and give ideas to stop it again.
The state health university also said it will make the exams safer by banning phones and checking more carefully.
A five‑member committee was formed to investigate the alleged photo circulation of a General Surgery question paper during the exam.
The incident was reported on July 27, 2023, and the committee will submit its findings within 72 hours.
Photographs and possibly answers were shared in WhatsApp groups while the exam was underway, involving 154 students.
The college dean, Harekrushna Dalai, said the event was not a “question paper leak” because the photos appeared after the paper was distributed.
The Odisha University of Health Sciences has issued new security instructions and banned mobile phones at remaining exam centers.
