Five Arrested After Nursing Exam Paper Photographed Mid-Test
Police arrested five people after a nursing exam paper was allegedly photographed during the test.
The examination was for first-year General Nursing and Midwifery students.
It took place at Indira Gandhi A.N.M. Nursing School in Parbhani, Maharashtra.
Police said supervisor Rakhi Chavan took a picture of the question paper soon after the exam started.
She allegedly sent the picture to her sister using WhatsApp.
Inspectors became suspicious that the paper had been taken out of the exam centre.
They checked the supervisor’s phone and found the photograph.
The exam continued as planned, and police registered a case under Maharashtra’s examination law.
Five people were arrested over alleged malpractice during a first-year General Nursing and Midwifery examination in Parbhani.

The photograph was allegedly sent to Chavan’s sister, Rani Chavan, through WhatsApp.
Central inspectors found the photograph while checking Chavan’s mobile phone during an inspection.
A case was registered under the Maharashtra Examination Act, while the examination continued without interruption.
