Delhi LG Approves Health Scheme for Construction Workers
Delhi has approved a new health plan for registered construction workers.
Their eligible family members can also use the plan.
Workers and eligible spouses will receive yearly health check-ups.
They can get cashless doctor visits, tests, medicines and hospital treatment.
The plan covers emergencies, work-related illnesses, long-term diseases, maternity care and rehabilitation.
Each person can receive treatment worth up to Rs 2 lakh per year.
A family can receive up to Rs 10 lakh in one year.
Special mobile medical teams will help workers reach hospitals and learn about the scheme.

Treatment is covered up to Rs 2 lakh per beneficiary annually, with a family limit of Rs 10 lakh.
More than 2.7 lakh construction workers are currently registered with the welfare board.
