A big Indian company group called Tata is getting ready for an important meeting.

Tata Sons is one of its biggest companies, and Tata Trusts owns a large part of it.

Another group called the Sir Ratan Tata Trust is also part of the ownership team.

Earlier this year, a state official in Maharashtra said this group could not come to meetings anymore.

The official said some rules were not followed, so they were not allowed to attend or make decisions.

Now, other trustees are asking the official to let them join for one special meeting.

If they do not come, there may not be enough people to make decisions.

At the meeting, they want to approve giving away 400 crore rupees in grants and paying out dividends.

They also want to vote on keeping a leader named N Chandrasekaran on the board.

The meeting is very soon, on August 18.
