Bastar Tiranga Yatra to cover ex-Naxal strongholds, honour fallen jawans
Chhattisgarh is a state in India that had many problems with a group called the Naxals, or Maoists, for a very long time.
These groups sometimes hurt or scared people who lived in a part of the state called Bastar.
The government says the fighting there has stopped and the area is now peaceful.
To celebrate, people are going on a special motorcycle trip called the Bastar Tiranga Yatra.
'Tiranga' means the Indian flag, and the trip happens just before India's Independence Day.
The riders will visit places where sad things happened, and they will remember people who were hurt or lost their lives.
They will even collect some soil from those places to put in a special museum.
Many villages will raise the Indian flag for the very first time.
The trip shows that Bastar is becoming a peaceful and happy place.
The 'Bastar Tiranga Yatra' is a three-day motorcycle yatra in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region from August 12-14, ahead of Independence Day.
Organised under the central government's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, it will cover 31 locations of past major Naxal incidents.
Tributes will be paid to civilians and security personnel killed in Maoist violence, including at Chingavaram, Errabor, Manikonta and Tadmetla.
Sacred soil collected during the yatra will be used for a memorial and museum to be built in Raipur.
On August 15, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will announce naming more than 500 schools, public squares and community buildings after fallen security personnel.
